Gardens & Land

We did not want our gardens to interfere with the natural beauty of the surrounding land. For inspiration we looked at many rural historic sites in Germany and France to see how gardens were laid out around farms and kloisters.

For hundreds of years people treasured plants not only for their beauty but also for their medicinal properties. So do we.

We make our own herbal teas, grow our own herbs and vegetables, fruit and of course flowers. Foliage, roots, bark and sap are used  for smudging the house. It is all a part of keeping the natural balance.

Our land is cultivated in  an organic and bio dynamic way.
